13/10 - Anas @ hospital

Yesterday, my wife took my son Anas to Darul Ehsan Medical Centre (DEMC) for his regular check up and also for vaccination. I just told my wife to call me for any update, while I am working. In the mean time, my office (MARDI) had a big Hari Raya open house which was celebrated for the whole staff and officer with our Minister. At around 10:30, suddenly my wife called me while I am sitting in the ceremony while waiting for the Minister to arrive. While I thought it just an update to what is his condition, my wife shocked me that Anas had to be admitted at the hospital as he had a bad cough with lots of phlegm and sputum. I had to wait until the ceremony is over until I can go home. Around 1 o’clock, we started to move back to our office by my friend’s car. Then, I rushed back to Shah Alam and when I arrived at home, only then I realize that I didn’t bring my keys to the house. I had to call my mum and told her that her grandson is at the hospital. I had to wait another half an hour to wait for her. After I pack everything, I rushed to the hospital.

Anas looked alright when I reached hospital. He still has a hard time to take his breath because of the sputum that cause tight chest. The doctor told my wife that it could cause pneumonia if not treated. What I’m wondering is since he is 1 month old (now he is 2 month), we already told them that he is suffering from too many sputum in his chest and having a hard time to breath but the doctor only said its okay, its normal. I do feel really pity to him as he can’t breathe properly. Sometime he don’t even want to laid on the bed and we had to carry him all the time and sometime he can’t sleep well. The worst part is he can’t take his milk properly and only drink a little of it. It makes him hungry all the time.

After 2 treatments (yesterday and today, treatment only once a day), Anas is getting better. He can sleep well without waking up every minute. He can take his milk again properly until finish (2 ounces per bottle). We also don’t have to carry him all the time. I am feeling so relief and Alhamdulillah as he is getting better. Thank you to the doctors and all the nurses.

Going Home to Kuala Kangsar

Masjid Ubudiah, Kuala Kangsar

Tomorrow Morning (Saturday), I'm going back to my wife's kampung (village) in Kampung Kota Lama Kanan to fetch my wife Rozilawati and my son Muhammad Anas. It's been 2 slow and lonely weeks for me without my wife as she had to berpantang at home in Kuala Kangsar. The last time I saw them was during Hari Raya Aidilfitri. I do feel weird and empty though without them. My house seems to be too quiet without hearing Muhammad Anas cries (song to my ear).

Best thing about Kuala Kangsar is that the town  is always quiet and calm eventhough its call Bandar Diraja. Differ alot then KL which is too crowded with people and always on the fast lane on 24/7. After like almost 5 years working in KL with lots of experience such as jammed, jammed and ..... oh yesss jammed again. Not to mention too crowded (did I mention this before) with lots of crimes and accident happened every second. My x-office was situated just next to General Hospital and we can heard ambulance siren every minutes. So, after 5 years, staying sometimes in Kuala Kangsar do make me feel relax with its slow pace of modernisation. You can still find a lot of old buildings that still maintained its character and still occupied by their owner.

In the village is much quieter and more relax. I've enjoyed the scenery with the chirping and buzzing sound coming from birds and bees. Sometimes I take out my camera and lens to capture those beautifies, be it scenery, a macro image of the insects or the long lens to capture the bird (eventhough hard to get). My mother in law always cook something for me eventhough sometimes I'm already full. She do feel afraid that her son in law would be hungry hahahaa. The best part is all the food is cook with original and authentic spices without any artificial flavour. A lot of times, all the ingredients can be taken from her orchard next to our house. We dont even have to buy things like chilli's, tomatoes, brinjal and some nuts. Instead, she sold some of her chillies at the market. Hmmm, not bad for a 60++ women right.

The journey to reach Kuala Kangsar would be around 21/2 to 3 hours from Shah Alam, depending on how fast I drive and how many times i do make a pitstops at R&R. Considering that I am alone, i think that I would reached Kuala Kangsar early hahha. The journey would be long, but it would well worth it. The toll would cost RM 30++. The petrol would be Rm 50++. The joy to see your wife and son again = priceless

Flash Outing

Last week i have a chance to join Adhadi from Myfotozone and Dunia Fotografi (www.duniafotografi.com) for the flash outing. It’s been so long since the last time I join any photo outing especially portraiture. I am really in need to joined some outing as my skill getting corroded.

We gathered around 2:00pm at Adhadi's shop, Myfotozone @ Giant Putra Height.

Adhadi came by around 3 pm and straight away, were heading to Putrajaya for our location. I drive in my car while the rest of the members take a ride in a van with Adhadi.

We reached Putrajaya by around 4:30pm and stop by Masjid besi @ Putrajaya to meet the others that were already in Putrajaya.

After we greet and met the rest of the member, Adhadi took us to an area next to Dr. Mahathir's office for the outing site.

We started @ 5pm, and Adhadi teach us everything he knows without holding back.
Seriously he is good in teaching as well as his technique as his picture came out really nice.
The outing finished at night but I have to go home early as I have Futsal that night @ Shah Alam. I do feel really regret as I can’t join the night shoot out. Maybe next time, I will join this fun outing again. For the outing I can give 5/5 star as it is a fun outing with lots of education and new skilled that I learned.

Mazlin Birthday Bash

We had a blast last Monday during Mazlin birthday bash at his house.

This is the first time I went inside his house. When I reached his house around 8:30 pm, I can already smell the flavour of bbq from his porch. Mazlin greet me with a yelled Peeps (what they always call me), you the first one to arrive.
Without delay i shake his hand and straight away grabbed some sausages with bread and chicken breast.
Mazlin told me to eat the stingray bbq. Boy, he did not kidding at all.
The stingray is the best i ever had for a long time, eaten with a hot air asam. Also the addition of nasi goreng really open up my apetite.
Then one by one, our friends came. By that time, i'm already full and i started to take some pictures. We all had a great night with good food and some chit-chat.
Around 10:30 pm we all start gathered around for the cake ceremony. Suddenly my lens dropped right in front of my eyes.
Before that when I took some pictures, i do feel a bit weird as the picture come out really dark.
I didn't check anything as i thought the battery for my flash was getting weaker. I started to feel really down, but i continue to take more picture after i inserted back the lens to the camera.
Hopefully its ok after i send it to nikon for a repair. I met Zuhrie at Nikon centre, and he also experienced the same thing.
Unfortunately he said, the cost of repairing are pricey.
Later on after everyone were just started to leave Mazlin's house, suddenly eggs and flour started flying from everywhere. Luckily the only target is Mazlin.
Yes, its Mazlin's who they are targeted as the birthday boy did not see this coming hahhahaha. We had a great laugh to see Mazlin covered in white flour with bad odor coming from the eggs hahahaha
Anyway, happy 28th birthday Mazlin. May you long for greater success in life. Here are some pictures from the party.

Open House

I think it still not too late to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. As usual, every time Hari Raya, a lot of open house will be available everywhere so everyone can gather for a meet up after aybe a year without seeing each other. This time we went to Jib's house and also as his house warming party hehe. Its a cosy and big condo with beautiful scenery.
